World Hearing Day – 3 March 2022
World Hearing Day is on 3 March 2022. This year, the World Health Organization (WHO) is focusing on the importance of safe listening as a means of maintaining good hearing across the life course. The theme for 2022 is “To hear for life, listen with care”. On World Hearing Day, WHO is launching a new global standard for safe listening entertainment venues and an mSafeListening handbook. Screening Kids for Hearing Loss
On the eve of World Hearing Day listen to a radio interview about how children from disadvantaged backgrounds are more likely to have hearing problems that very often go undetected, and how this risks delays to a child’s language development and ability to learn. Read more….
Virtual Debate to Mark World Hearing Day in the EU
To mark World Hearing Day on 3 March 2022, the European Association of Hearing Aid Professionals (AEA), jointly with the World Health Organization, and the European Federation of Hard of Hearing People, are conducting a Lunch Debate in the European Parliament. The debate is on 3 March 2022 from 12.30 to 14.30 pm (Central European Time). Participation and registration are free. Register online today…
