This International Communication Project (ICP) report, “The Importance of Speech, Language and Communication to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: A Summary of Evidence” [PDF], makes a solid case for addressing communication disabilities in order to meet three United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

  • SDG #2: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all.
